The main function of a fire engine pump is to supply water (or a special foam liquid mixture) under high pressure to the hydrant system to fight fires or ignitions. In case of flooding, for pumping out a large amount of water, it also proves itself perfectly. A great advantage of such equipment is its independence from the place of application. The motor pump is completely autonomous and when placed near a reservoir or water tank is immediately ready for work. Its small dimensions and weight allow it to be transported even with a car. A standard motorized pump consists of a frame on a chassis, an internal combustion engine, a pump, a foaming unit, a fuel tank and a set of hoses with a quick-release fastener.
